Stability First
Stability First is a local nonprofit that provides Christ-centered, life-transforming solutions to people experiencing homelessness and addiction through recovery housing, and services designed to help them overcome their life-controlling challenges and gain stability in life. The ministry supports the Magdalene House, a 16-bed recovery housing facility for women, Maggie Bags, and soon the Foundations House, also a 16-bed facility to serve men in faith-based recovery. Churches in Mission is a non-profit organization that exists to assist neighbors in Morgan County in their efforts to break the cycle of poverty, to help them attain financial independence, and to empower them to become key contributors to the future of the community. Volunteers are always needed at each location. You can help in the food pantry, sort, and organize donations, clean the facilities, and assist in other ways.
