Today is a special Missions Sunday. We are blessed to have Steve Conner with us representing Sports Outreach International.
Steve and Michelle have been supported by Eastview for over 20 years. Their work has an incredible reach across the globe. You will hear more from him as he brings the message. We are also blessed to have Marty & Sheila Corey with us representing Open Arms Christian Ministries. Marty faithfully served at Eastview for many years before taking the reigns of his current ministry. These servants of the Lord are doing their very best to demonstrate the love of Christ in our world. Though very different means the goal is the same, helping people connect with God.
Please take some time to talk to these servants and encourage them in their work. Let me also say what an encouragement last Sunday’s congregational meeting was. The challenges before us are real, and so is the power of God to help us face them and fulfill our mission to “Reach people for Christ and Build people up in Christ”. May He be glorified by our faithfulness.
