Rick’s Reflections- 1/8/2017

Last week Nathan did a good job of reminding us that we succeed when we prepare and work with God’s will in mind.  A straightforward word directly from Scripture. In the weeks ahead, we will be exploring the idea of moving forward with an “Eternal Perspective.” We will be focusing on what it means to have been hardwired by God with purpose and how that plays into our making a difference in the world for the Kingdom of God.  When we set our story within His great story we will find meaning and perspective. I hope you will make a determined effort to be part of this adventure and even invite others to discover along with us the power of living with eternity in mind. Together let’s allow the Word of God to inform and inspire us to live with the end in mind.

Please take some time this week if you don’t already do so, to go over the enclosed prayer list. There are many needs that we can collectively lift to our heavenly Father. Even if you don’t know the people involved, God does and He instructs us to pray in faith. He knows what is best in every situation, our job is to seek His blessings on each situation.  “I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.” Matt 18:19

Blessings,

Rick
