Over the past month we have explored some personal and even sensitive topics concerning our emotional and spiritual maturity. We have been shown some new concepts and been reminded of some old truths. If we are honest, we are all being stretched here.
It is one thing to be familiar with the stories in scripture and another thing all together to be transformed by living into the application of the truths we learn. Perhaps that is one of the reasons that the world does not always see a big difference between those who call themselves Christ followers and those who don’t.
As we have looked at the signs of spiritual under-development and the need for honest self-awareness, we all find things then need to change. We acknowledge that we must go back to go forward, meaning we must deal honestly with the pain from the past. We also are aware that on this journey we will hit a wall from time to time.
A we move forward we will look at specific things we can do to cooperate with God in His transformation plan for our lives. Stay with us, God is up to something special.
